Who we are

A School Built for Creative Expression

At Jesús Moroles Expressive Arts Vanguard, the arts are part of the foundation of how students learn, grow, and connect with the world.

The Vanguard program allows students to pursue focused study in disciplines including art, band, dance, orchestra, piano, and theater. Beginning in elementary school and continuing through middle school, students develop their skills through hands-on practice, rehearsals, and performances that bring their creativity to life.

Students in 4th and 5th grade explore two artistic disciplines, building a broad creative foundation. In middle school, students focus more deeply on a single discipline, allowing them to refine their craft and grow as confident young artists.

The MVP

Great programs are built by great communities.

The Moroles Vanguard Partnership (MVP) is a network of parents, families, educators, and supporters who help strengthen the program and expand opportunities for students. Through fundraising, volunteer leadership, and community support, we help provide the resources that make performances, productions, and student experiences possible.

One Community Supporting Young Artists

The relationship between the Vanguard program and the Vanguard Partnership is simple but powerful.

The program gives students a place to create, perform, and grow.
The MVP ensures the program has the support and resources to thrive.

Together, they create an environment where students are encouraged to explore their creativity, develop their talents, and share their work with their community.

At Jesús Moroles, the arts aren’t just something students participate in—they are part of how students discover who they are.
